Lettres Ulm (humanities entry to the ENS Ulm)
Lettres Ulm means preparing for the humanities entrance exam of the ENS in the rue d’Ulm in Paris. Lumi helps you retain the detail of a very demanding programme.

In short
The École normale supérieure in the rue d’Ulm, Paris, recruits in humanities through an exam prepared in khâgne. Written and oral tests cover literature, philosophy, history, languages and, depending on the path, ancient languages. Candidates attend a khâgne, often in a well-known Parisian lycée, and also aim at other ENS. The tests are long, and selection is strong.
What goes on your cards
For Ulm, cards need to be fine. Put in the set works with precise passages, authors and movements, philosophy notions, history landmarks, Latin or Greek translations and language vocabulary. Lumi has you recall them to free up room in your writing.
A study rhythm
Spread the work over the two years rather than concentrating the effort at the end of khâgne. Make a daily pass on quotes and a deeper session each week (Cepeda et al., 2008). As the written exams near, alternate papers, as in the real exam. See How to make a study schedule before an exam.
