Latin
In Latin, declensions, conjugations and vocabulary are what you can memorise. Lumi asks them back, while translating needs practice.

How to turn this subject into cards
Make one note per declension, conjugation and vocabulary list, with the nominative, the genitive and the gender of each noun. Lumi quizzes endings, irregular forms and the words to know by heart. The classic trap is reciting a declension table without being able to identify the form in a sentence. After each table, spot one form in a real text. Testing yourself with active recall gives better results than rereading a table (Roediger and Karpicke, 2006).
