Pre-med
Pre-med is the track that prepares you for US medical school, with science courses and an admission exam. Lumi helps you keep the dense science content.

In short
In the US, medicine is studied after a first bachelor’s degree. Pre-med is not an official major but a set of courses that medical schools often require, like biology, general chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, and often biochemistry and statistics. Applicants then take the MCAT and submit an application. Each medical school publishes its own prerequisites, so check the ones for the schools you want.
What goes on your cards
Pre-med is a volume test. Put reaction mechanisms, functional group families, metabolic pathways, structures and units on cards. One card per reaction or pathway, with what goes in, what comes out and the control point. Lumi helps you keep vocabulary and mechanisms ready to use.
A study rhythm
Spread the content over several terms instead of redoing everything right before the MCAT. Each idea deserves several passes on different days (Rawson and Dunlosky, 2011), and science courses build on each other. Revisit your first-year basics during later terms.
