United Kingdom
A-levels
A-levels are the end-of-school exams in the UK, taken in a few chosen subjects. Lumi helps you keep the content in depth before the papers.

In short
A-levels are usually prepared over two years, in Year 12 and Year 13, in about three subjects the student chooses. The papers, mostly written, take place at the end of the period. UK universities rely on the results, with conditional offers tied to grades. The level is deeper than GCSEs, with more independent thinking. The exact content depends on the specification your school follows.
What goes on your cards
In A-levels, cards serve everything that must be known by heart, like definitions and theories in economics, mechanisms in biology, equations in physics, dates in history and quotations in literature. Each card links a fact to the reason that explains it.
A study rhythm
Over two years, a regular pass is worth more than a big revision in May. See each chapter in the weeks after the lesson, then later, at longer gaps (Cepeda et al., 2006). In May and June, focus on past papers.
