Physics and chemistry
In physics and chemistry at school you remember definitions, formulas, units and lab procedures. Lumi has you recall them so you no longer have to hunt for them mid-exercise.

How to turn this subject into cards
For school physics and chemistry, keep a two-column card set, the quantity and its symbol on one side, the unit and formula on the other. Add the lab diagrams and procedures the course expects you to describe. The usual trap is mixing up symbols or converting a unit the wrong way, a litre into cubic metres, minutes into seconds. Lumi quizzes you on symbols, conversions, laws and the steps of a procedure. Testing yourself on cards beats rereading them, even when rereading feels more confident (Roediger and Karpicke, 2006).

Try it, Lumi turns it into fill in the blank questions in your browser.
