Combined science
This subject puts biology, chemistry and physics into one course or one exam, as in GCSE and BTEC combined science or the science section of the ACT. Lumi has you recall the vocabulary, laws, formulas and units from all three so none of it slips.

How to turn this subject into cards
When three sciences share one syllabus, the risk is skimming everything. Keep a card set per discipline and add a cross-cutting set for what appears everywhere, units, conversions, the vocabulary of an experiment (variable, hypothesis, result) and orders of magnitude. Alternating physics, chemistry and biology in one session trains you to recognise the type of question, which helps a lot on exam day, especially on papers that mix the topics. Mixing problem types has improved delayed test results in maths (Rohrer and Taylor, 2007). Lumi quizzes you on definitions, formulas, units and method steps.
