MIR
The MIR is the national exam that gives access to specialist medical training in Spain. Lumi helps you retain the huge volume of medical content, not train for the pace of the test.

In short
The MIR, Médico Interno Residente, is the Spanish system for training specialist doctors. You enter through a single national multiple choice exam, taken once a year. The ranking you get, which also takes your academic record into account, determines the specialty and hospital you can choose. The exam covers all medical disciplines. The rules, calendar and number of places are published officially each year, so check them.
What goes on your cards
The MIR asks you to retain a huge volume of content on diagnosis, treatment, values, protocols, dosages and criteria. Put them on cards, one card per disease or drug, with the point you are most often asked.
A study rhythm
Preparation generally lasts many months and follows the date of the annual exam. A daily pass over your cards, spread over several days, holds better than big blocks (Cepeda et al., 2006). See each disease several times and keep the last weeks for full sets.
